Stronger Concrete Foundations are a Group Effort

Working together the concrete supply system builds strong foundation

concrete supply work = Bruno Nebraska Barn MoveThis 3-minute video helps to demonstrate what can be done when several people pull together to meet a goal.

A 10-ton (20,000 lbs) barn in Nebraska was moved 115 feet from its original foundation and then 6 feet higher up a gentle slope to its new home. It was moved away from a dangerous flood zone.

The 344 human lifters individually picked-up 56 lbs in order to move the barn. This move produced a remarkable demonstration of teamwork for all of us in the international development community.

More details HERE.

Concrete construction in developing nations is like this barn. People will remain in harm’s way until everyone catches the vision and lifts and moves the industry forward and out of danger.

We are confident that we can change the quality of concrete construction in the poorest nations of the world if we put our minds to it. Are you willing to lift your 56 pounds worth and help us build a strong concrete supply chain for their foundations?
