The Prescription to Cure Poverty

We are going to attend the Haiti Huddle in San Fransisco during the first week of October. The Huddle brings diverse groups together to find “solutions for rebuilding a sustainable Haiti”.

This event includes a special meal featuring the food of Chef Ron Duprat, a Haitian and a “Top Chef” competitor. Chef Ron will be cooking the dinner as a part of a fund-raising effort by the Florida Marlin’s and Food for the Poor.

One of the keynote speakers at the Huddle will be John Baker, the catcher for the Marlin’s and the lead voice in championing the Homes for Haiti program.

Other speakers include John Engle with Haiti Partners and Jane Wynne of Wynne Farm.

We appreciate the efforts of the sponsors (Sureground, Haiti Onward, ,Sustainable Haiti Coalition, Network Haiti and LifeGivingForce) and look forward to joining with others to find sustainable solutions for rebuilding Haiti.

The following is the Prescription to Cure Poverty in Haiti.
